El Modena Choir

We took pictures for the Choir a couple of weeks ago and today I am talking about the photos I took in specific. I used a certain lighting style known as Rembrandt, This lighting is used to have a light and dark effect on the face of who ever you are shooting as you can see in this picture.

As you can see the left side of her face has a tint of darkness and the right side is bright. I did this by putting the light source on the right side of her face which gives a nice light and dark contrast throughout the picture.

Again this is another example of Rembrandt lighting you can see the light from the right side brightens up that side of the face and darkens the other side of his face which is clearly seen in these photographs.

This is photo I used Rembrandt lighting but you cant tell because I went into photoshop and adjusted the lighting to make his face brighter to make his face pop more from the background.
